Meet The Founder
Hi, I’m Thomas DuBois
I’m a proud Shreveport native, born in Cedar Grove and a graduate of Captain Shreve High School. After attending Louisiana Tech, I launched my first business at just 23 — rebranding Globe Travel into Corporate Travel Center. When the local economy shifted in the late '80s, I pivoted, relocating to Dallas in 1991 to join Worldtek Travel.
By 1996, I was ready to build something new. I founded Esquire Travel Group, a boutique agency specializing in travel management for law firms. Over the next two decades, I developed full-service travel programs for seven major firms across Texas before selling the business and retiring in 2020.
But even before retirement, I saw my next chapter coming. I started investing in real estate in 2015 — first in North Texas, then Central Texas, and eventually, back home in Shreveport. Coming back wasn’t just about location; it was about purpose. I returned to the place that raised me, ready to help revitalize it.
My roots in Cedar Grove run deep, and so does my commitment to the neighborhood. I believe every community deserves to thrive. Through affordable housing, restoring blighted properties, and creating spaces where families can feel proud to live, I’m working to help build a better Shreveport — one property at a time.
Today, I bring that same drive to my work at Coldwell Banker Apex, part of the #1 real estate team in Northwest Louisiana. Since earning my license in 2022, I’ve been helping buyers, sellers, and investors make smart, confident decisions grounded in real-world experience.
Outside of real estate, I serve as Secretary of the Board for the Red River Revel — an organization I’m deeply proud to be part of. The Revel is more than a festival; it’s a celebration of the arts, a hub for local talent, and a vital thread in the cultural fabric of our city.
Whether I’m helping a client find their next investment or walking the streets of Cedar Grove, my mission remains the same: to invest in people, in place, and in the future of Shreveport.
