Alexandria Native and Centenary Grad Josh Johnson Takes the Helm at The Daily Show

A familiar Louisiana voice is about to step into one of late night’s most iconic chairs—and we couldn’t be more excited.

Josh Johnson, an Alexandria native and graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport, will guest host The Daily Show this week, Tuesday through Thursday. After years sharpening his skills in the show’s writers’ room and recently earning a promotion to on-air correspondent, Johnson now joins a powerhouse bench of Stewart-era talent including Ronny Chieng, Jordan Klepper, Michael Kosta, and Desi Lydic.
