There's something special about a Saturday morning in Downtown Shreveport.

Fresh coffee in one hand. Local produce in the other. Live music filling the air. And this year, hundreds of beautifully restored classics, muscle cars, hot rods, trucks, and custom vehicles lining Festival Plaza.

The 2026 Shreveport Farmers' Market Summer Car Show returns on Saturday, July 25, from 8:00 a.m. until noon, combining two things that bring people together—great cars and a great community.

More Than Just a Car Show

While automotive enthusiasts will certainly have plenty to admire, the Summer Car Show has become much more than rows of polished vehicles.

It's a family-friendly community event where visitors can:

  • Browse the award-winning Shreveport Farmers' Market

  • Shop fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods, honey, jams, and handcrafted products from local vendors

  • Enjoy live music throughout the morning

  • Grab breakfast or lunch from local food trucks

  • Explore one of Downtown Shreveport's most popular summer destinations

Whether you're a lifelong gearhead or simply looking for something fun to do on a Saturday morning, there's something for everyone.

Every Vehicle Has a Story

One of the best parts of any car show is talking with the owners.

Many of these vehicles have taken years—even decades—to restore. Others have been passed down through generations, carrying family memories along with polished chrome and fresh paint.

The event welcomes virtually every style of vehicle, including:

  • Classic cars

  • Muscle cars

  • Street rods

  • Modern performance vehicles

  • Antique automobiles

  • Custom builds

  • Pickup trucks

  • Jeeps

  • Specialty vehicles

No matter what your automotive passion may be, chances are you'll find it under the pavilion.

Competing for Awards

Participants will also compete for several popular awards, including:

  • Best in Show

  • People's Choice

  • Best Classic

  • Best Muscle Car

  • Best Truck

  • Additional specialty awards

Of course, for many owners, the real reward is simply sharing their pride and joy with fellow enthusiasts and the community.

Want to Enter Your Vehicle?

Registration is open to all makes and models.

Entry fees include:

  • $25 Early Registration (before June 30)

The event will be held rain or shine, and exhibitors are welcome to bring a 10x10 canopy tent for additional shade in their display area. Parking for show vehicles is on-site, although it is not shaded.

Easy Parking for Visitors

Attending is easy.

Free parking is available:

  • At Downtown street meters

  • Behind Riverview Hall

  • On the lower level of Festival Plaza

Festival Plaza is located at:

101 Crockett Street
Shreveport, Louisiana

Supporting Local Businesses

One of the biggest reasons this event continues to grow is its connection to the Shreveport Farmers' Market.

Every purchase made from a local farmer, artisan, baker, or food vendor helps support small businesses throughout Northwest Louisiana.

It's a reminder that community events like this do more than entertain—they strengthen the local economy and bring neighbors together.

A Few Things to Remember

Visitors should note that while service animals are welcome, pets are not permitted inside the Farmers' Market.

Bring comfortable walking shoes, your camera, and an appetite—you'll likely leave with fresh produce, homemade treats, and dozens of photos of incredible automobiles.
